Hotel Description
The hotel operates both as a boutique hotel with luxurious accommodation and as a budget-conscious hotel with affordable rooms. The hotel offers various facilities, including a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, lift access and currency exchange facilities. There are private, on-site conference facilities with audiovisual equipment. The conference rooms are also suitable for parties. Further facilities include a shop, a café and a bar called Studio 29. Room service is provided, and guests arriving by car can leave their vehicles in the nearby car park.
The rooms have a work desk, mini fridge, parquet flooring, a luxurious double bed with headboard, individually adjustable heating, cable/satellite TV, plush bathrobes, a bedside alarm clock and a minibar (please see attached minibar list). The rooms are also equipped with coffee and tea making facilities, a hairdryer, radio, direct dial telephone and complimentary wireless Internet access. The standard rooms do not have a private bathroom, but guests can use the shared bathroom, and the suite also has a private walk-in shower.
At night the restaurant becomes a bar with jazz music on weekends.
This hotel is located in central Reykjavik, in the city's oldest postal code, and occupies the 4th floor of a new building. The hotel is just a short walk from the city centre, where guests can find the Icelandic opera, the national theatre and the culture house, as well as many galleries, museums, clubs and cafés.
The hotel has a bistro bar and serves light lunch entrees, such as soup and salad, as well as café favourites.
