This small 2-star tourist-class hotel is perfectly situated in the city centre in Bayswater area just by the entrance to Kensington Gardens/ Hyde Park and close to Paddington train station. Very basic, budget-style accommodation, however good value regarding its convenient location for sightseeing, shopping and transport. **LOCATION** The hotel is centrally located in Bayswater area by Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. It lies very close to the Paddington station which has direct 15-min train connection to Heathrow airport. There are 2 tube stations in the proximity (Bayswater and Queensway) giving access to 3 metro lines. The surrounding area is full of cafes and shops including a large shopping centre Whiteleys. A public health centre - Porchester Centre - with gym and a large swimming pool is a short walk from the hotel. The main shopping area - Oxford Street - is only a couple of tube or bus stops away. **EXTERIOR** The property is a 5-storey modern 60's style building with grey facade. **ROOMS** Both rooms and bathrooms are very small in size. The decor is slightly dated and in need of renovation; however the rooms are kept very clean. Amenities include TVs with a few satellite channels and a telephone. **RESTAURANTS & BARS** There is no restaurant or bar in the hotel. Continental buffet breakfast with a limited choice is included (tea/coffee, rolls, jam, cheese, cereal and croissants).
