This 4-star historical hotel and spa is located in a small town of San Guiliano di Terme about 6km from Pisa. It offers elegant accommodation in a beautiful historical villa as well as leisure activities, relaxation and treatments. Great location for exploring Tuscany. ***LOCATION*** The hotel is situated just of the main square of San Guiliano di Terme. The town is located between Pisa (6km) and Lucca (12km) and close to Pisa airport (10km). The local train station (5min walk) is a stop on the Pisa - Florence via Lucca line and it only 10-min train journey from Pisa. The hotel offers free parking. Perfect location for those traveling by car and wanting to explore the nearby Tuscan towns. ***EXTERIOR*** The property is a beautiful historical building from the 1800's that used to be a favourite summer residence for the nobility from all over Europe. Part of the property is a new-built annex. ***LEISURE FACILITIES*** The hotel has a small outdoor thermal pool with hydro-massage jets on the roof, a small indoor pool and a gym. The spa offers a wide range of both beauty and medical treatments using local thermal and mineral-rich curative water and mud. The hotel also offers daily fitness walks and exercise sessions. The nearby Park of San Rossore is perfect for relaxing walks, cycling or horse-riding. ***ROOMS*** Rooms vary in standard and decor. While deluxe rooms and suites are very elegant with vaulted ceilings and beautiful frescos on the ceiling, standard rooms are rather simple and functional, yet bright and spacious. All rooms are very clean, comfortable and have all modern amenities. All guests receive bathrobes and slippers for the spa on arrival. ***RESTAURANTS & BARS*** Dei Lorena Restaurant serves local cuisine with low-calorie and vegetarian options as well. The restaurant has a view of Pisa and the Leaning Tower. The bar is set in a beautiful vaulted-ceiling room with ceiling frescos from the 1800's.
