Hotel Carmen is an excellent four star hotel situated in the heart of Granada. This recently renovated hotel has a central location only a few minutes from the city's main monuments, the best shopping centres and five minutes drive from the Alhambra. It is ideally situated for visitors to the area and has a welcoming atmosphere with a friendly and hospitable service. The exterior of the hotel is a modern white building with beautiful marble floors, elegant sofas and lots of plants. All of the 283 guest rooms are furnished to a high standard, new with a mix of modern and traditional decor to offer comfort and a feeling of relaxed luxury. The rooms are equipped with private bathroom, direct dial telephone, satellite colour television, air conditioning, hair dryer, mini-bar and safety deposit box. A honeymoon suite and rooms with Jacuzzi and balcony are also available and the executive rooms are additionally equipped with private fax line and computer. Room service is supplied to all rooms and non-smoking rooms can be obtained. The hotel features a variety of facilities and services that are sure to meet the needs of both business and leisure travellers. The hotel has its own swimming pool (open only during summer from 21st June -7th September) with panoramic terrace views of the Sierra Nevada and Alhambra, a snack bar, bingo hall and English-style bar with live music. There are several restaurants for everyday meals and special occasions; 13 fully equipped conference, meeting and banquet rooms, with a capacity for 30 to 200 people.
