This hotel is located in Crete, the largest Greek island, on a pretty coastal road right next to the hotel's private beach. The island includes a number of mountains, which line the south coast with steep cliffs to the flat north, as well as a consistent Mediterranean climate. The bus stop is just a hop, skip and a jump from the hotel. The nearest holiday resort of Platanes is within 6 km of the hotel and the popular city of Rethymnon, with the picturesque harbour and plenty of shops, is located 12 km from the hotel. There is a regular bus service that can be taken advantage of and the transfer time to Chania and Heraklion airports is about 2 hours.

The complex offers a large well-tended garden, which includes 2 pretty swimming pools with a sun terrace and a stunning view of the sea and the bay. Sun loungers and parasols are available by the pool, whilst beach towels by the pool and on the beach are available for an added fee. It is possible to enjoy a refreshing drink at the beach bar. Sports options offered include darts, table tennis, bocce, minigolf, basketball, archery, beach volleyball and billiards in the neighbouring sister hotel. Two hard courts for tennis are offered on payment of an additional fee. Canoes as well as pedalos are available for hire on the beach. Active guests may also enjoy a workout in the hotel gym. It is possible to make use of the health spa including a Jacuzzi, a sauna and massage treatments. There are also a large amount of evening entertainment programmes for children and adults, including dancing, folklore and shows.
