Hotel Description
Lying amidst wonderful natural surrounds this hotel was first opened in 2005 and comprises 11 accommodation units scattered throughout the grounds. Facilities within the 2-storey main building include a 24-hour reception desk, a currency exchange facility and a cloakroom in addition to a small supermarket, a shop, a games room, a breakfast room, a TV room/ lounge and a conference room. Drinks and beverages are available in the cosy café and traditional tavern with non-smoking area and highchairs for infants. There is a playground for younger guests and it is possible to make use of the public Internet terminal, bicycle hire service and room service. A car park and bicycle storage facility round off the offerings.
Each of the separate apartments comes with a bathroom with hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, Internet access, a hi-fi stereo system with a radio function, satellite/ cable TV, a kitchenette with a fridge and individually controllable heating and air conditioning. There is also a combined lounge/ bedroom, a separate bedroom and a balcony offering fantastic views out over the surrounding area in each as standard.
A diversity of sports may be undertaken in the local area including hiking, cycling, climbing and horse riding.
Located on a sprawling site covering some 8 hectares, this hotel lies at an altitude of 500 m at the foot of the Philoritis mountain.The small town of Zaros, which is the area's main centre and offers visitors a diverse selection of shopping and entertainment venues, lies about 1 km from the hotel. It is just 20 km to Mátala, a town on the south coast of Crete, whose sprawling beaches are ideal for bathing.
