Inaugurated in July 2002, Hotel Faro is one of the most recent hotels unit of the Algarve (Portugal). This 4 stars hotel, placed in the centre of Faro, near the marina and the historical area of the city, is placed 7 km from the International Airport of Faro, 500 meters from the bus station, 800 meters from the train station and with easy access to the highway with connection to Lisbon and Spain. The customer has at his service a monitored parking, located in the two basements of the building, with the capacity for 70 automobiles and a Conference-room and a Business Centre in the ground floor. The 90 modern rooms, including 3 suites decorated in a functional and extremely comfortable way, are equipped with a complete bathroom, air conditioning with individual regulation, telephone with direct connection, possibility of access to the Internet, Cable TV, radio, a minibar and an individual safe free of charge. A Restaurant, a panoramic bar, and terrace on the top floor of the building that provides a beautiful sight over Ria Formosa and the historical part of the city. During the summer there is a free shuttle service to Dessert Island.
