Hotel Description
The building work in the Hotel Bahia del Duque are still ongoing. The villas which are being built on the road to the front of the hotel are not due to open unitl January 2008. These works don't affect clients except that they can be seen when approaching the hotel. The building of the spa in the Bahia del Duque is also still ongoing. Altough the main construction work is done, there is still some sporadic noise from the site. This work is expected to be completed by the end of the summer season.
The luxurious resort Gran Melia Bahia del Duque is located in the south of the isle of Tenerife (Canary Islands), right alongside the beautiful beach of Costa Adeje and surrounded by 63,000 m2 of wonderful gardens. The complex, of an architectural style reminiscent of the Canary Islands at the turn of the century and with Victorian and Venetian influences, has been built on the slopes of a hill, overlooking the beach and offering wonderful views of the silhouette of the nearby isle of La Gomera.
