In 1395- 1416, the building was in possession of Mr. Hieronymus Pragensis, a Czech reformatory thinker, theologian, and philosopher. The famous Master Jan Hus, whose monument you can find in the near Old Town Square, was guest in this house several times. Hieronymus Pragensis, just like his friend, had been burnt at the stake for heretics in the German town of Constance because of his modern beliefs.
