Hotel Description
Opened in 2001, this hotel is spread over 3 floors, with a total of 82 rooms, 8 of them for single use, 2 for handicapped people and 6suites. The air-conditioned building comprises a 24 h reception and 2 lifts. Additionally a hairdresser, beauty salon, piano bar and restaurant are available for guests to make use of. Conference facilities and Internet access also feature within the hotel. Those arriving by car may take advantage of the hotel's car park. Room and laundry services complete the services available.
The comfortably furnished rooms come with an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, a minibar/fridge, Internet access, air conditioning (central heating pending of season), safe (free use) and balcony/terrace. The suites are very spacious and offer the same facilities as the rooms, additionally including a Jacuzzi and a separate shower in the bathroom as well as a separate bedroom and lounge area with a second television and DVD-player. A non smoking room can be reserved on request. All rooms have pool and garden views.
In the 2000 m² outdoor complex and gardens there is a swimming pool with a sun terrace including sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use and a pool/ snack bar. Furthermore, there is an indoor pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room with cold-water pool and footbath on offer to guests and, for an additional fee, a massage service. Sports enthusiasts may visit to the in-house modern gym. There is a seasonal entertainment programme to provide some variation for guests The nearest golf course is approximately 50 km away. Beauty and spa treatments such as classic cosmetic, aroma and Bach flower therapies are all on offer. Furthermore, Scottish and Vichy showers (pressure and massage showers) can be booked on site.
This luxury hotel is located between the bays of Cala'n Bosch (around 250m) and Son Xoriguer (around 400 m). A hotel operated shuttle bus service takes guests to the former island capital of Ciutadella (around 10km away). Only 300m away from the resort center with it's famous harbour 'Lago Cala'n Bosch'.
EL LAGO and CIUTADELLA.
On leaving the Airport, take the main road to Ciutadella (aprox. 48 km). When you arrive to Ciutadella (roundabout with large sculpture of a horse), turn left and follow the road until you arrive to another roundabout showing 'Cap de Artrux' and turn left at this roundabout. Follow the road towards Cap de Artrutx, past the Cala Blanca crossing, you should be able to see the lighthouse at the end of the road. Just before you arrive at the lighthouse, you will see a sign for Son Xoriguer, please turn left at this sign. Go stright on until you come to a fork in the road with several signs including the sign to La Quinta; please continue straight ahead. On your left, you will pass a holiday complex called Paradise Club, and later a brown building called Grupotel Macarella, turn left again just after this complex. You will see another sign indicating La Quinta at 40 metres. You will see the hotel just after the Betabuy Supermarket.
Guests are offered breakfast and evening meals in the form of a buffet. Lunch may also be taken à la carte if wished. It is possible to book a half-board stay.
American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard and VISA are accepted as methods of payment.
Pets are not permitted. Room cleaning, towel and sheet changing is every day.
