Hotel Description
Tennis players have a club with 3 quartz sand courts, diving fans will find the only diving school in the north of Tenerife here. Sport motivated guests will find a multi-purpose athletic field, available for volleyball, handball, basketball, or football. A widespread offer of equipment can be found at our gym and fitness centre. You can also practice French bowls, billiard, table tennis or jogging. Also, a miniature golf course belongs to the grounds.
Sauna and massage area is at your disposal for a small fee. Daily animation programmes and live music. You can find a health centre at MARITIM resort. Children: children’s playground supervised kindergarten (during school holidays). Babysitter service on request.
The main pool and the children’s pool are heated – all pools with pool bar and free deck chairs as well as a nude sunbathing zone in the upper garden.
297 rooms distributed over 18 floors with balcony and view to the garden or to the Atlantic Ocean. MARITIM Hotel offers 3 non-smoking floors. Room equipment consists of SAT-TV, radio, mini-bar, direct dial telephone, personal safety box in the room on hire, air conditioning. Bath room with hair dryer. Balcony with sea view (extra bed possible in rooms with queen-size beds).
The main Restaurant Mar Oceáno with a unique view over the ocean, breakfast and half board (dinner) service, various buffets with Spanish and international specialities. The a la carte Restaurant La Marea with a big inviting terrace where you choose from a great variety of typical Canary and international specialities. At the Trattoria La Taberna you can have small meals, and a wonderful view from its terrace over the Atlantic Ocean and Puerto de la Cruz.
In Orotava Valley, located directly on the ocean, on impressive coastal cliffs pounded by breakers and surrounded by banana plantations and amidst a subtropical palm garden with a unique plant and flower splendour, this resort offers the ideal atmosphere to relax and enjoy. Within a few hundred meters famous Loro Parque welcomes you with its exotic animals and shows as well as 'Playa Jardin', which invites you to bath and relax.
The complimentary hotel shuttle brings you to the centre of Puerto de la Cruz, which is about 2 km from the hotel. It leaves some times a day (except on Sundays and holidays).
