All the rooms are fitted in Mexican colonial style with hand-painted tiles and mahogany and bamboo décor. Stucco finishes, carved niches, uncovered beams, and extensive wood and ironwork contribute to the unique atmosphere. The rooms are all fitted with their own terrace with hammocks and garden or sea views, wool carpets, original art and furniture, a king-size bed, a reading lamp, a hire safe, a high-speed Internet connection, a hairdryer, and individually adjustable air conditioning. Also provided are spacious en suite bathrooms, some of which have been fitted with sunken bathtubs decorated with hand-painted mosaics from Talavera.

This hotel complex is located on the Mayan Riviera near historic and cultural attractions. The centre of Playa del Carmen, with its bars, restaurants, nightclubs, and shops, is only some 15 minutes by car away, while guests will reach Cancún in approximately 45 minutes and Tulum in around 50 minutes. Both Coba and Sian Ka'an lie a 90-minute drive from the hotel.
