A warm welcome to Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel Golf and Country Club, Shrewsbury. Opening soon, a Macdonald 4 Star Premier Hotel Vital and Leisure Complex. There will be 90 spacious bedrooms, all with private bathrooms. All rooms will have Colour Television, tea and coffee making facilities, private telephones, balconies, and ground floor rooms will have patios. Accommodation bookings are now being taken for dates after the expected opening date of November 15th 2005. With its excellent road, rail and airport links, Macdonald Hill Valley is easily accessible from anywhere in the UK or abroad. Manchester International Airport is less than 1 hour away, Crewe (railway station) 30 minutes, Birmingham International Airport is just 1 hour away, Chester and Shrewsbury are just 30 minutes down the road. Our hotel lounge bar is separate to the livelier sportsman's bar and lends itself ideally to a more relaxed and formal area for drinks and snacks. Whether you are having a quiet drink with friends and family or having a business meeting over lunch then the lounge bar is the ideal place.
