Hotel Description
This charming hotel was built in 1971 and consists of 273 rooms spread over 7 floors, of which 14 are singles and 259 are doubles, in addition to a 100 m˛ garden. Guests are offered a stylish lobby with 2 lifts, safes, a currency exchange desk and a 24-hour reception. In addition, it has a games room, a TV room, a conference room, a café, a cosy bar and an air-conditioned restaurant with a separate non-smoking area and highchairs for children. Hotel guests may also take advantage of the public Internet access with WLAN, the hotel's laundry service and the medical assistance offered, if necessary. The hotel also offers bicycle hire, as well as a secure cellar for storing bicycles and there is a kids club for younger guests. Car parking facilities are available for those arriving by car.
The spacious en suite rooms are fitted with a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV and a safe. The rooms are also fitted with central heating as standard.
The hotel offers guests use of the swimming pool with an integrated children's pool as well as a furnished sun terrace and a snack bar. In addition, it has an indoor swimming pool (temperature controlled from the end of May to the beginning of October), sauna, solarium, a steam room and a gym. Sporting options include aerobics, water aerobics, tennis, table tennis, squash, archery, bocce and minigolf. On payment of an additional fee, snooker, bicycles and a massage service are also available. There are also a range of entertainment programmes to round off the leisure activities offered.
This hotel is situated in a quiet location, on a small hill with a fine sand beach just paces away. The surrounding area offers plenty of bars, nightclubs and restaurants. The centre of Playa de Palma offers scores of shops and other entertainment venues, just 700 metres away. Public transport leaves from directly in front of the hotel.
A fine buffet is on offer at breakfast and in the evenings. In addition, the hotel caters for guests with special dietary requirements.
