Built in 1989 and renovated in 2001, this fully air-conditioned luxury complex is set in 20,000m² of grounds and includes a total of 326 rooms spread over 7 floors of which 61 are single rooms, 250 are double rooms and 25 are suites. There is a modern foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange facility and a total of 4 lifts. Amongst the first-class facilities count a café, a beauty area with hairdresser, a games room, a reading room, a TV room, an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with a non-smoking area and highchairs for infants, a modern, fully-equipped conference room and a public Internet terminal. Furthermore, a laundry service, medical assistance, car park, garage, bicycle cellar, bike hire service as well as a kid's club and playground for younger guests are on offer at this hotel.
The comfortable, elegant rooms are all air conditioned and come with an en suite bathroom, a shower, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a radio, a hi-fi stereo system, a minibar, carpeting, central heating, a safe and a balcony.
Guests will discover a pool with a children's pool in the large grounds as well as a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols and snack bars. Within the hotel there is a heated indoor swimming pool, a sauna, a solarium, a steam room and a gym. In addition, a vast 3,000-m² health and thalasso centre is to be found directly next to the hotel. This luxury complex is located directly beside the Punta Amer nature reserve, approximately 400 metres from the nearest fine sand beach. An array of shopping venues, restaurants and bars as well as links to the public transport network are located in the hotel's vicinity, it is not far to the nearest nightclub (1 km) and the centre of Cala Millor is just 1.5 km from the hotel.

Airport exit direction Playa de Palma-Santanyí, on the motorway. Take the second exit on the right -direction Manacor/S'Aranjassa- 2 km. you join the C-715. In Manacor follow the C-715 until you get to Sant Llorenç des Cardassar. You join, just at the entrance to town, on the PM-403 -direction Son Servera. Enter Son Servera and follow Joana Roca Street until leaving the town. Take the turn off for Sa Coma on to Las Palmeras Avrenue. Turn left at the last roundabout and then take first left. You will arrive at the parking of Protur Sa Coma Playa Hotel & Spa.|
Guests are offered a buffet each morning, midday and evening. At midday and in the evenings, it is also possible to select dishes from the à la carte menu. In addition, the hotel also caters for guests with special dietary requirements.
