Surrounding Area
Located opposite the main railway station in the centre of town. The shopping areas is located just around the corner of the building and behind the railway station. Most points of interest are within walking distance. "Den Gamle By" the living history museum is about 15 minutes walk from the hotel.

Room Types
The rooms are traditionally decorated with dark wooden furniture, classic fabrics and matching dark carpets. The rooms are generally in good condition. The modern bathrooms, of which some are marble, are in good condition. Some bathrooms both have shower and bath while other have shower only. All have hair dryer. Non-smoking rooms are available on request.

Dining Facilities
Restaurant René, which is located at the ground floor of the hotel, is well known for its gastronomic French/Danish cuisine. Dishes are prepared using only the finest fresh ingredients. The original 1930's tableware is still used, which compliments the art deco style of the restaurant very well. The wine cellar features more than 10,000 bottles stored on more than 3½ kilometres of iron shelves, spanning an impressive 150 years. This is one of the largest and finest wine cellars in Denmark. Restaurant René is open for breakfast lunch and dinner.

The exterior is typical of the 1930's art deco period, with styling in a light yellow brick. The exterior is in good condition.

General
This is an excellent choice for travellers wishing to stay in traditional comfort and in a central location. The service is professional. Due to the large wine cellar, the hotel is of particular interest to travellers with a taste for fine wines. (06/06 LC)
