Hotel Description
The guesthouse, which was built in 1900, is a fine example of Seljuk architecture. The antique building was lovingly restored by hand. Each block of stone that makes up the 2-storey building was quarried locally and then worked and shaped by hand before becoming a part of the walls of this eco-hotel. The hotel comprises a total of 20 rooms and among its facilities is an entrance hall with 24-hour reception, hotel safe, currency exchange counter, cloakroom and lift. Guests are also offered a café, a bar, a TV room and a restaurant. The facilities provided by the hotel also include laundry and room services, conference services, public Internet access and parking for those arriving by car.
The stone construction of the hotel and its roof vaults make for cool room temperatures in summer and pleasant warmth during the winter. The rooms are all fitted with every modern convenience, to offer guests all the comfort they deserve. They each come with an en suite bathroom including a bathtub and hairdryer, a telephone, a satellite/ cable TV, Internet access, a minibar, tea and coffee-making facilities, a double or king-size bed, air conditioning, a room safe and either a terrace or a balcony.
Guests are all invited to make use of the hotel's own Jacuzzi and sun loungers, as well as riding and mountain biking activities (for an additional fee). There is a programme of entertainment provided for both adults and children.
The hotel premises are located in a narrow lane between family homes and gardens, and offer a panoramic view over rocky caves and the old village of Ürgüp. The hotel is around 500 m from the city centre, with its various restaurants, bars, club and shopping amenities.
