Hotel Description
The hotel exterior is a light sandstone colour and has an interesting design resembling a large sand castle.
The large rooms are well decorated in a variety of colours and kept in exceptional condition. Colour schemes vary but all are very tasteful. Furniture is in a classic contemporary style. The light marble bathrooms are kept in good condition. All rooms have individually controlled air conditioning, direct dial telephone with message alert and bathroom extensions, voice mail, satellite television, radio, mini bar and electronic safety deposit box. Non-smoking and wheelchair accessible rooms are also available.
The various restaurant outlets offer a good selection of cuisine in relaxed surroundings. Overall the hotel boasts eight restaurants and bars.
The hotel is located on the Cornice overlooking the Arabian Gulf and has its own private beach. Within walking distance of the shopping and commercial districts, and a 30 minute drive from Abu Dhabi International Airport.
More services and facilities include a fully equipped business centre, a fully equipped health club with fitness and aerobic studio, squash courts, juice bar, steam room, sauna, massage and rooftop tennis courts. Furthermore, a three-tiered outdoor swimming pool, adult pool with pool bar, family pool with beach area and covered children's pool are also available. Water sports lessons are available with qualified instructors.
***PLEASE NOTE *** The hotel does not recommend swimming in the hotel’s lagoon until further notice due to construction in the area adjacent to our resort. However our other beach services are fully operational. Alternatively we have arranged for our guests to use the beach in our sister hotel “Le Meridien Abu Dhabi”. Transportation is arranged at fixed times on a daily basis and the schedule is available from our Front Desk. Guests may also experience noise in the external and internal areas of the hotel as some rooms overlook the development sites next to the lagoon as well as on the city side of the hotel. All other hotel services and facilities are operating as normal.
