Hotel Description
Renovated in 2005, this 7-storey hotel consists of a total of 252 double rooms, 37 single rooms and 11 Junior Suites. Guests are welcomed into a pleasant lobby with 24-hour reception and a currency exchange desk. Additional facilities include 3 lifts, a games room, 2 bars and an air-conditioned buffet restaurant (with views of the beautiful garden), as well as conference facilities, an Internet corner (extra charge), a children's play area and free shuttle bus to the town centre 5 days a week. Furthermore, guests may make use of the hotel's room and laundry services (extra charge), medical assistance (extra charge), car park and garage (subject to availability).
The inviting rooms are furnished with an en suite bathroom, terrace or balcony, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, conventional Internet connection, minibar (with charge, on request), centrally regulated air conditioning (summer season, with time table), safety deposit box (with charge) and hairdryer. The rooms adapted for disabled guests have roll-in showers.
Outside, guests may make use of 2 freshwater swimming pools (one of which is heated). There is a separate children's paddling pool, as well as a playground for kids. In addition, guests can relax at the poolside snack bar and sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols (towels are available for a deposit). For an additional fee, guests may wish to enjoy a game of tennis (1 hard court), pool or table tennis. Guests are also offered the opportunity to exercise in the gym (free of charge) or unwind with a massage (charges apply). An evening entertainment programme incorporates dancing with live music and shows several times a week.
This beach hotel lies in a slightly elevated position in the residential area of La Paz, in Puerto de la Cruz, and offers beautiful views out over the sea and the town or the Orotava Valley and Mount Teide. The nearest beach is some 500 m away, and the town centre and the Lago Martianez saltwater swimming baths are around 1 km away (accessible using the free hotel bus service that runs 5 days a week). Guests can catch busses and taxis at a stop just 50 m from the hotel. Los Rodeos Airport is approximately 25 km from the hotel.

Take the motorway towards the north (Santa Cruz / Puerto de la Cruz), and take exit 32. After 1.5 km cross over the bridge towards the Botánico road, and 1 km further on the Sol Puerto de la Cruz, the hotel is situated on the right at the 5th set of traffic lights (down the Calzada Martiánez road).
Breakfast and dinner are served in buffet form with show cooking. Twice a week theme dinners are offered: Canarian and Oriental. The restaurant is non-smoking.
American Express, MasterCard and VISA are all accepted as methods of payment.
This is not a fully 'All-Inclusive' complex, and some installations and services may carry an extra charge. Guests who have booked an 'All-Inclusive' stay will be informed of what is available, timetables and locations on arrival. Some areas, such as the upper swimming pool, are inaccessible to wheelchair users. Parking is free of charge but is subject to availability.
