**Hotel rooms at the west wing will be under renovation 29th of October 2007 - 29th of February 2008. At times there will be some noise disturbance specially from the 5th November till the 14th December.** This 4-star modern hotel is conveniently located between the old town of Albufeira and the new part, known as The Strip. The nearest beach, with crystal clear water and fine white sand, is only 10-m away on foot. Modern and comfortable accommodation with excellent service by the sea. The hotel is strategically situated 700-m away (10min on foot) from the Pescadores Beach (Fishermen's beach), between Albufeira's old town and the new part of the city known as The Strip. The beach, with crystal clear water and fine white sand, is safe and quiet. Some fishing fleet still goes daily out to sea. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to the beaches and to the town's every 30min. The Strip, 5-min. away by car, is a north-to-south lively road along Oura Beach (Praia da Oura) plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and venues. Albufeira's old town can be easily reached on foot. The historical part is very picturesque and sights such as the Igreja Church, Santa Ana's church and the Archaeological Museum can be visited. The property is a 6-storey modern purpose-built building with a white facade and spacious balconies overlooking the pool area. The hotel's health club includes a fitness room with cardio machines, weight machines, and free weights; a massage and steam rooms; a sauna; and a spa tub in a marble-lined room with a mirror ceiling. The hotel offers an 18-meter kidney-shape pool and a 3.5-meter toddlers' pool in a garden. The heated indoor pool is designed similar to a jungle cave and includes a shallow toddlers' section. Rooms are very comfortable and of a generous size. Rooms are tastefully furnished with plain wooden light-colour furniture. With decor in soft colours, the rooms have comfortable beds with quality bedding. The bathrooms are also spacious and well-appointed. Rooms have good views of the pool area and the sea in the distance. The hotel has two restaurants: The Versatil is a spacious restaurant serving buffet dinner. The Versatil a la Carta is a restaurant offering Portuguese and international dishes. Terrace seating in summer. Full continental and English buffet breakfast is served everyday from 7:00 to 10:30.
